Since 2016 we have been supporting this small local clinic with donated medical supplies from friends and colleagues in the UK. These donations enable the clinic to offer basic first aid and medical services to the local community in Sanchaba a village in The Gambia, with the donations the clinic can treat wounds burns, give pain relief, as well as supporting people with other health conditions (listed below). The treatments are delivered by a small team of experienced nurses and midwives. Our donations mean that the clinic can offer free treatment to local people who don’t have the funds available when in need of treatment. Students from a local Arabic school Al Ha Suwaneh are also supported by the clinic. Donations are distributed to other clinics at Bundung and Bakindik. Sanchaba Clinic helps between 80-100 people each year with our donations. (We ship donations between Jan and Sept).
